How have you landscaped your museum area?

I really don't plan on landscaping my museum much. Though I am thinking of putting statues, shrubs and benches on each side. I just hate that Redd doesn't show up as often as he did last month...

Got it at the back of my island on a cliff with 4 waterfalls in front of it. A river is formed around a little landmass with a Megaloceraps. pretty over dramatic but I like that kinda style.

Mine's just hanging out at the top of the skinny horizontal cliff above my campground with a disorderly arrangement of things on the other side of the 2-unit path that goes across in front of it. Items include a stone arch, a golden dung beetle, a coprolite because funny, some other small fossil I can't remember, a sea bass model... Nothing extravagant at all lol. I have nothing but 2-unit paths throughout my island so the 7-unit width of the thing frustrated me. Maybe I'll move/change it in the DISTANT future now that I'm starting to create more open spaces, just no idea right now where it could fit.

Some people have made some really cool dig site type areas near their museums! I don't have a pic rn but they basically made a dirt pit with tools and fossils, it looks super cool.

Omg I had the same incline problem! With it being off center I just embraced it and made the outside into an outdoor exhibit with a winding pathway that actually fits in better with my connecting WIP statue/butterfly flower grader. Here‘s a quick video tour of the area!

You did a great job at hiding the fact that it's not aligned! I love the winding pathway.

I placed my museum in my plaza shopping street. Going to call it wall market after I decide how to make it look.

I set it up in a similar order to my New Leaf layout. I placed mine in the back on a 2nd tier of cliffs. In front of mine is a small cafe until Brewsters is added then it will become an arcade.

i added a walkway with water on either side and symmetrical fossils leading up to the museum. there are 2 bushes at the entrance. i also added a sparkly overlay to the stone path

uhhhh hope you don't mind me bumping this old post, but I wanted to put this somewhere without making a whole new thread
the museum entrance is the only part of my island that literally isn't just flat nothing at the moment lol. and because I'm kinda iffy on it, I was planning on demolishing it all soon... but now it's kinda growing on me

so that's why I decided to post it in this dead thread. hope you enjoy

Currently there are some hedges. I think the location of it will be moved. If its moved the amount of hedges will get lower and maybe a ramp will be added closer to it.

I haven’t yet, I’m still working the ground and inclines etc where I want it - I have a few idea of what I want to do around it etc

Here's a picture of my museum. Sometimes I consider breaking this down so that I can use the inclines for something else, but I really like the "hidden" path back to Redd when he actually shows up.
