How does Leif's Stock Work?

I feel like I should have worked this out by now, but I'm afraid I've not been paying attention!

Does Leif's stock rotate each time he visits (apart from the in season shrubs), or are both species of shrub he sells only available in certain months?

Basically, I bought a load of azaleas and hollies when he first appeared, but have run out and want to buy more. He's arrived yesterday selling camellias and hibiscus, so I was out of luck.

Is there a chance he might arrive selling one of the shrubs I'm after soon, or am I looking at a long wait until they come back around?

Thanks for this, but that's not really what I was asking.

I'm asking whether Leif will always sell an in-season shrub plus a random other one, or whether both shrub types he sells are linked to the month / season.

So...is there any chance he might arrive selling holly bushes in July, for example?

No he won't. He is programmed to only bring seasonal bushes.

I hope that's right!

It would at least give me a chance of getting some more shrubs at some point soon.

in my experience. he always brings in all colors of 2 types of flowers you don't have in your nooks.

He will bring two types of shurbs and all colors of it. The one that's blooming now and some other random one. He tells you which one is in season but you won't see if you are just mashing your buttons through his text
