How does everyone feel about the “Now in season” hibiscus bushes?

Hibiscus was my favourite in New Leaf so I planted a couple on my island. I really like how it looks so I might plant more around the beachy areas!

i don’t dislike them but i don’t like em either, prolly ‘cause it doesn’t fit in with my town theme and i definitely prefer other bushes

I really like the yellow ones, and the red ones are okay in small doses. I switched out some of my flowers for more vibrant ones, and my island looks nice and tropical.

Each section of my island have specific bushes. Azaleas on my park and tea-olives on my nature trail for example. My hibiscus are placed around the outdoor gym near the beach and palm trees, so I think it looks fitting.

My island is pretty generic looking so I guess any shrub would actually fit regardless of placement. :/

Lief hasn't stopped by yet so I can't swap out my bushes. From what I've seen, they're okay. I like the pastel colours and how delicate the petals look. The hydrangeas were my absolute favourite though, I'm sad to see them out of season.

I don't use primary colors.
They are too stark and generic.

I planted mine on my southern beaches, so they are well-suited. One line is near the surf shop and dock, the other by the shark spotting station.

It wouldn't work to have them "inland" though, so they're somewhat limited in placement.

I actually liked the hydrangeas loooool but I like the hibiscus, too. They dont match everywhere, unfortunately.

I miss hydrangeas my town is just green and brown now with the bushes and brick paths

They do fit the island theme better but I havent got any planted yet so I don't know how they'd look in my town. In New Leaf I chose not to have any in season hibiscus but I guess I'll wait and see.

I like the hibiscus a lot! I miss the hydrangeas as they are my favorite, but there are a few spots on my island where the hibiscus are perfect.

Hibiscus are one of my favorite kinds of flowers so I love that they're in season now!! I'd like a white/pink hibiscus though -- those would match the aesthetic I'm trying to achieve near my house.

I haven't planted them yet but I don't know how I'll feel about them, I really like the blue and purple shrubs I have now :c but I do like the flowers blooming so I'll probably replace them soon. I just don't think the red and yellow will fit my town, so I probably won't have them all over but just near my beaches or something! my town is very pink and blue so yeah :c

Like others said the yellow hibiscus is really nice. I do miss the hydrangeas though, really wish that all didn’t just die immediately so I could still have a few haha.

I must admit that they look way better than I expected. The hibiscus flowers are not as big as they were back in new leaf, which I think is nice because they are more elegant this way. Nonetheless, I prefer other kinds of shrubs, especially the azaleas and holly bushes (that I have yet to see in new horizons).
