Maybe I don't understand the options properly because I don't have a North American accent, but I pronounce it pia-nist (or pia-nuhst), with no emphasise on an "an" sound.

Whenever I encounter that word and have reason to say it out loud, I tend to just say, "piano player." ^o^;>

But in my head, reading it, I hear "PEE-uh-nist," which I don't see in the poll, actually, so maybe I'm think-saying it wrong. XD
