How do you guys get SO many bells?

Went into a town that had an AFK player on it. He had 12 bags of 99k on the floor.

My first thought, "I`m RICH!"
You aren't serious are you? @_@;

Turnips, perfect fruit, marketplace. I suppose duping; I'm surprised at the value of bells if duping is actually really rampant haha.

I prefer going to the island and fishing for sharks/hunting for beetles etc. It takes a while but it's really fun.

use that 1 mil on sunday and buy as much turnips as you can then come here and go to a town buying turnips for alot and you will make a ton, its amazing, oh and sell your villagers in the villager trading sub forum if you dont like them and they are worth alot.

Seriously how do you do it?
I just reached 1.8mil at once thanks to selling a lot of villager pictures on April's fools day,
but I NEVER have that much!
When I see dream villagers being auctioned at prices over 2mil, how do people even manage to get that many bells?
I can never compete in auctions or offer to buy a villager without seeming ridiculous.

WHAT IS YOUR SECRET?

Sell your TBT bells, and also turnips. :-)

Selling TBT bells if you don't need them is a pretty good way to earn bells. Turnips are the next best way.

I've gotten most of my bells by selling villagers and hybrids. By bug hunting at the island, I get about 300K an hour. I cycle villagers on my cycling town and sell the really popular ones. I've gotten over 50 million from that. I just sold a bunch of hybrids for 3.2 million. All of these things really add up for a lot of bells! I'm close to reaching my goal of 100 million! I've only sold turnips once, but the profit was incredible! I'd definitely recommend it, if you're willing to put in the effort. ^-^

I get about 300 k every 3 days by selling perfect fruit. I make the rest of my money by turnips.

Turnips and beetle-catching.
Beetle catching is on Tortimer Island, just go at night and catch the beetles. Valued at around 6000-12000 depending on the beetles.

Buy turnips from Joan on Sunday mornings before 12. Only buy if the price is 90-100 bells. I usually buy a whole locker full, and a but more if the price is below 95. Then check turnip prices at Re-Tail or check the prices here. Sell your turnips when they are worth 400 or more. But don't TT, it'll make them spoil

There are a lot of lovely people who's prices are quite high and let us sell <3

If you have a lazy camper, you can play a game where you guess the fruit they're thinking of and if you answer correctly early in the game, they'll buy your item for a lot more than Re-Tail price. Perfect for selling beetles and sharks. There's a guide out there for getting the best results somewhere.

The best way to get bells IMHO is to sell your TBT and mostly to sell turnips.

I fill my entire locker with turnips (about 2mill worth) and then watch the train station / turnip prices thread for 500-600+ turnip price? go sell them all! Just be careful not to TT backwards while you have a bunch of turnips. If you see someone with a high turnip price, etc, you can carefully TT to sunday and then load up, and go to their town to sell. You can easily get 5-10million bells? Obviously, TT carefully so you don't loose villagers. GOODLUCK!!!

...dude I can't even make 400k on my own. The sole thing I work on is that once I sold Genji for 10m and I'm trying to live off that xDDD

Selling TBT bells can get you loads of cash tho.

Haha, I'm trying to get rich by selling tier 1 villagers! I figured TBT is the best way to make bells between Villagers and Turnips

I just sell stuff that i dont want anymore & villagers

I have 15 million saved up and one word: turnips.

Some people also dupe the bells or whatever. We also sell perfect fruits when it's on premium ^.^ or go to the island and catch sharks and rare bugs!

Good luck!

I had like no bells, but then I sold a villager on here and got like 15 million. So I'm all set.

For me, I mostly lurk in the Re-Tail. I've started to get more involved with the Villager Trading, but I don't TT like crazy to cycle villagers out. It makes the game less enjoyable for me. I've been here for a month and I've made like 100mil+ but, I've also spent like more than half of that xD
