i just used it for the first time the other day. i got a mom item i wanted and a frog model!!! nice.
however, i think it's annoying how it's only one item at a time and i feel like a newbie and like people will dislike me or something idk. hhhhhh tho i rly like being able to find just about any item in game.

I bought an “ungifted” Ankha from somebody named “Merlin” the other day.

Ankha was of course gifted with multiple crazy shirts (disco dress, painters jacket, cheerleading uniform, white sunglasses, and did I mention the ROYAL CROWN!!?)

I haven’t used it yet and the negative experiences I’ve heard about it has pretty much convinced me to stay away from it even though I do believe there are honest and nice people there; I just feel more comfortable with trading here. I’ve been finding everything that I want here so far anyways and like 90-99% of my experience here has been positive :).

I only used Nookazon a couple of times before giving up and using TBT for all my New Horizons needs. The layout was confusing, communication was slow, and the prices were extremely inflated for even the simplest things. Hearing stories about scams, how poorly the site was moderated, and how unreliable ratings were just further pushed me away from it. I don't need all those extra complications when trying to buy a few video game items.

THIS. I forgot about this. One of the things that I did not like at all about Nookazon is people getting greedy and overpricing out of season materials. By the time I stopped using the site for my trading pine cones were trading at at least 3(!!!) NMT per 1(!!!) cone. I’m still hoping to give away some pine cones for free once fall comes to my island again, for all those who get NH for Christmas.

I've use it a few times out of desperation and have had weird experiences with it. Although the trades are quick, the people there are way more curt/cold because everyone is afraid of getting scammed, unlike here where it seems like the majority of people are super friendly and generous, and enjoy helping others for free. I would much rather trade on this website (even though sometimes people take a while to respond) because I have never gotten scammed here and have had overall amazing experiences.

Their auction style really sucks tho because nearly ALL THE TIME when I enter the highest bid at the end of an auction, the auction (could be pre-set) or seller can add more time (2-4 minutes) and re-open the auction so a higher price can be placed and you don't actually win the auction until the seller likes the final price. This is a horrible system for auctions and is so unrealistic with how real auctions are ran like on Ebay. 😒

Before joined here I tried to use it and I had an item on there listed for 500 Bells when the item cost around 1200 bells to buy from Nooks cranny and I had a rude user message me and said he wanted it but not for the price I had it listed for. To which I told him to look and see that it costs around the 1200 bells mark and this was cheaper than what others were selling it for. As other users had it for like + 40 000 bells and ridiculous prices like that.

In the end he was like yeah fine whatever I'll get it off you I was just like nope no need to be rude and just logged out and haven't logged on back since

I've used it 3 times and it was a very good experience.

Just sucks to hear that players are on their scamming, I guess I was just lucky enough to not deal with that.

One of these trades was me watering someones flowers as a service ( i signed myself up to do this wondering if anyone would actually pay someone for this ) and the player who ordered me(?) then watered her own flowers with me and tried to gift me ontop of the agreed price (which was 10nmt- to water a few flowers- like damnnnn) with little communication. I guess looking back that was very sweet and she was probably just lonely/ trying to make friends, but I was a little overwhelmed with that kind of behaviour with no expectation of it beforhand and havent used Nookazon since bahaha

I'll probably use it again in the future if im looking for very specific items that I can't find on the wonderful community here, the trading also seems to be very very fast compared to here

It's not a secret that Nookazon isn't my favorite, I find it exceedingly difficult to get anything and overly expensive. Every experience I've had there has been negative. From trying to get villagers, to even just trading for items. It seems like everything is overpriced and nobody wants to accept reasonable offers. I have no idea why I can't do one successful transaction despite doing 100s on other websites. They're on my no no list forever!

It's annoying that the items are over priced and a lot of times you don't know until you make an offer and they deny it. Drives me crazy.

I nearly lost my mind trying to buy a villager a few weeks back. I think I offered over 150 NMT for Lolly and got denied. Nookazon can really be crazy some days!

It's certainly not perfect system, and I think there is a lot of price-gouging that goes on there, especially in regards to villagers, which is unfortunate. That said, I do like the ability to type in an item I am looking for and being able to get it fairly easily.

I usually only sell stuff there. It's so fast for me. If I use reddit, I can sell only a few diys at a time. I can sell most of the (more desirable) diys on Nookazon within an hour.

I think as a buyer, Nookazon is not as good if you are looking for popular items. They are way overpriced. Mush diys for 50 nmt is ridiculous. But if you want to find a normal item or diy that you didn't get on your own island, it's pretty easy to get for a reasonable price.

I had someone steal items off my island when he was buying one of my villagers. He told me that stealing my stuff was due to a disability that apparently doesn't allow him to understand that stealing is wrong.....? Well anyways that's how he explained it. I was nice about it and he left me a good review but I saw him review others poorly based on "not understanding his disability". I'm really terrified to let anyone on my island after that so I request dodo codes instead.

I used to like Nookazon, but their initial response to the BLM movement made me not want to support their website anymore. Also the prices are really high.

I’ve tried Nookazon a few times, only as a buyer though. My only gripe is how long it can take for sellers to respond, or they just don’t reply at all/the order stays in limbo, which is a little frustrating.
