The most I've ever done is plant some coconut and banana trees, and I'm trying to get ideas for my town now. I thought about collecting shells and then just covering the entire beach area in them but wasn't sure how that would look! Ill probably try that but just wondering what you all do to your beaches.
I put flowers against the cliff side, alternated between coconut and banana tress, and made beach towels. You can check it out if you like, my DA is in my description.
I like to scatter some white lilies around my beach. I've also seen other people put different path patterns around, like to make it look like someone drew a heart in the sand or a beach towel laid out. I like your sea shell idea though! I might do a little of that myself
I like to plant clovers on my beach.

i hate the beach its always looked weird imo. i wish it was just grass down there. the island would have been good replacement for the beach. it just doesnt look right.

One thing I've seen is shells arranged down the slide (ik it's not a slide, but the bit where you walk down) and then rows of flowers along the cliffs. That looked really cool.
Also beach towels is an awesome idea, wish I had thought of it haha
I have never decorated my beach... I would really like to try maybe some blankets or something? I wish we could build a PWP like the picnic blanket on there, that would look super cute. I have seen people who put lots of flowers and blankets and have QRs for things like drawings on the sand, which look neat.
i always wish i had the space to do a like a lil inlet pond tbh. my beach is tiny, but for bigger beaches, especially ones with circular sand places that cut back into the cliff, it would be really cool to see people doing qr ponds and such, framing them with trees etc. i have also seen animal qr codes for walruses and such on the beach, as well as people doing treasure hunts with both paths, shells and buried treasures
i have some special plans with my steven universe themed town's beach, but that's to be revealed ~
I've planted banana and coconut trees alternately. That's also where I put the hybrid flowers that I couldn't place elsewhere then try to arrange them by type and color. Nothing too fancy
Oh I love the beach towel idea! I always wish you could do a hammock down there for a pwp. The only thing about the sea shell idea is I wonder if Gulliver would still be able to come. I like to collect the different furniture from the countries. I also put sea shells down the slope also. I collect them all anyway so I can make room for giant clam shells to make music boxes.
This is the first time I'm actually putting effort into decorating my beaches.
The bottom one currently has pansies (the orange, yellow, and red ones) running along the entire cliff with banana trees dotted along. I also want to make (or find) a plank path to put along there as well...maybe.
For my beach running along the side it currently has 3 banana trees and that's it. I wanted to make a little cove with trees and hae a towel or something there but it wasn't working, so I've given up on it for now.
My beach is mostly my flower breeding ground for now until I move in all of my dreamies and get down to really doing some landscaping. But I will probably dot mine with seashells and have trees here and there, I know I was some kind of QR, maybe a beach towel or picnic blanket and then since I have a tiny private beach I will bury a treasure chest there. =D
i just line mine with palm trees and seashells & keep my loose flowers and hybrids i'm breeding there, lol. i'm thinking about moving all my flowers over to my other beach and going all out on designing my beach since i've seen some good QR codes around
I don't, unfortunately. I used to have paths for it but it didn't turn out well so I got them off, it would be nice if the beaches were bigger and you could place things on them such as projects. I use my beach for a breeding ground and it does look pretty though.
Flowers don't grow in sand for good, unless yar some god/dess of plants and harvest.
Because I'm only human, I really don't like the idea of havin' flowers in the beach.
I agree with that we have a rather limit'd options on what we can decorate our beach with.
