How did you get rich in NMT?

Also, I sold Gold roses, I find that selling 20 is a good number, not too much but not too little, you could definetly use 20 gold roses to decorate something fancy! First time I sold them, i was thinking of selling them for a NMT, but someone offered me 60 NMT (3NMT each) and i was like
WOW (* ಠ_ಠ) ... SOLD! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و
then I bought gold roses off someone who was selling them for a NMT each (cuz gold roses are annoying to breed cuz you end up with a bunch of black roses.) Bought 20 and put them up for sale saying i was lf 2-3NMT each, and someone offered me 80 NMT for them all!

I was lucky indeed , though there had been times when i posted to sell gold roses, no one bought, eventually you’ll find someone that will buy

I traded a lot with a bunch of people on this forum (diys, furniture, materials) and just got the NMT from there. Some I've also bought for TBT since I don't use them for collectables.

yes posting gives you tbt. longer posts give more tbt, shorter less. you don’t get it from i believe trading forums and the basement if i remember correctly. good luck!

3. I USE to sell villagers but I don't anymore (give them away instead)

i have around 200k nook miles, so i guess that's the equivalent of 100 nmt- i just don't use up my miles as fast as i make them (i don't normally go to mystery islands unless i'm hopping for a villager), and i usually don't dip into my nook miles reserve because i make some tickets by selling flowers/wishlist items/diys to people here on the forum or through nookazon! i currently have around 50 nmt just from trading, and i'll use them next time i island hop. i don't think i'll really need to redeem that many of my nook miles in the near future, so i guess those will still keep racking up

I wouldn't say I'm rich in nmt, and am not really looking for them because I have had pretty decent villager luck. I have gotten a bunch from just having people over to do stuff like see Celeste, make wishes, buy stuff, and get recipes. I don't ask for entry fees or anything, but people on TE and on here have been super generous with nmt tips! They're nice to have when I run out of resources, so I'm super grateful!

I had a lot of NMTs from tips (mostly from this - people are so nice and generous lol) and selling some items on discord! I only collected NMTs because I wanted to buy mom items, but now that I’ve completed the collection, not sure what to do with my excess

If I ever want to island hop, I just trade tbt for NMT because getting tbt is easy and getting NMT is more of a grind if you don’t use dupes or TT to get them.
