How did you get into video games?

What happened that made you start playing them?

For me, it was my brother playing them. I used to watch him play a lot, and then I started playing with him, and then I got my GBA, my first system that was all mine. And that's how. Without him, I doubt I'd like video games, as most people I knew at my pre-k (wow, I've been gaming for awhile now...) either hated video games, or didn't know what they were. I remember trying to start a conversation with a girl once, "Yeah, so there's this thing called a gamecube..." that conversation was just a fail XD.

So, how did you get into video gaming?

My sister and my dad both played games. I started going through gaming boot camp at the age of either 3 or 4. Once, I started getting things, I gradually became better and better. Although, it wasn't serious until we bought my dad a Gamecube for Fathers Day with Luigi's Mansion. Good times.

Anyways, back on topic, for me, it started with Pacman and Donkey Kong arcade machines in my doctor's office when I was about 5. I was dominating. Kids would crowd around just to watch me go at it, and I've been hooked ever since.

My parents got me into them... They pretty much always played video games, my dad had an Atari when he was a kid and my mom had an NES. When I was little my parents always let me play their Sega Genesis, that's kinda what got me playing video games
