How did you get into video games?

My grandma used play Super Mario Bros. for a few minutes to help me get to sleep when i was like 4 and sleeping in the guest room.
I was like WHAT IS THIS GREATNESS

A year or so later I got my Gameboy color, and that was that! =]

Well, my family was never gaming orientated exactly so I didn't grow up playing video games. I got my Gameboy advanced SP a few weeks after the DS was released in England, so I kind of missed out there. But I do kind of owe it to one of my friends at the time who introduced me to videogames.

First game I played was DK64 I played a bunch of PS1 Spyro but I have to say the gamecube got me hooked.

Not sure, but it may have been a Game Boy or DS, and I'm not sure the games. I remember some of my first ones, though.
