How are people already getting the sanrio villagers/items?

I'm not sure why so many people think the items are hacked. People live in Japan. Shocking, I know. Cx

Once you have an Amiibo, you can Time Travel all you want to get the pieces you need. You can buy the pieces from other people. You can get your own cards on eBay. You can ask friends who live in Japan to buy you the cards (which I'm actually considering doing- the furniture is SO cute). You can even go through a shopping service. There are a LOT of ways to get these cards that do not require hacking (and the update kind of killed hacks to begin with, so there's that).

that's true, but personally i think it's a bit fishy how some people constantly have all the sets to sell. i mean, these items are still unorderable from the catalogue, right? and therefore require 3 meow coupons per item. i just don't know how people can save up enough meow coupons to have the sanrio items in stock by the set at all times because even with time traveling, you can only get so few meow coupons a day. of course this isn't the case with everyone, but it's still definitely a possibility.

ahh do you know where to get them? i've found the new welcome amiibo cards online but not the sanrio ones!

for australia, i heard they were put up on nintendo australia's ebay account for a little bit (but then sold out?) not sure about other options though
