I've always said it as herb XD.
i've never heard the 'h' pronounced unless it's a man's name, or if somebody's emphasizing the 'h' because they're making it clear they mean marijuana.
The word "herb" is not of English origin. This is the first i've heard that the Brits go around pronouncing the 'h.' I suppose across the pond they've decided to pronounce the 'h' in "honest," and in "hours" as well, lmao.
Compare to how you ordinarily don't hear Brits pronounce the 'h' in words like "he's," "his," "have," or "here," and it's little wonder they decided to get the 'ell out of the EU in an 'urry, 'ey!![]()
I pronounce the h, but every time I do people look at me funny and inform me that the h is silent, making the word erb. Idc. I still pronounce it with the h.
