I'm playing online... And every match I play my game lags? My character will not move smoothly, like it takes half a second for something to work, like running. Is this just lag or is something up?

probably means you have a crappy internet connection, or the person you're playing with does. just because you have 3 bars doesn't mean you have an immaculate connection

but if you're playing the 3DS version, I've heard it's pretty ****ty online anyway so that could also be a factor

I only do 1v1, so its a bit less of a chance of lag. Plus your right, 3ds online sucks. I wish I had Wii u, then I would just play with an amiibo.

3DS local lags. There's times when I can't even connect to other people like the DS had better local play than this.

But you'll get lag in general when playing online, even if you and the other person have the fastest internet available.
