Help storing items

Hi,
I'm going to be doing a system transfer in the next couple days, but I've read online there can be complications with the pre-installed version of New Leaf.
Would somebody be willing to let me keep things in their town for a while, just in case? (quite a lot, about a closetful)
It would really be a big help, I can offer bells, flowers or items in return.

I would be willing. All I ask in turn is that you do the same for me.

I want to do a town restart, simply to change my layout, but I also want to keep my things. So I'll let you keep your stuff at my town, for a bit. But I just ask that you let me leave some items in your new town, after. Btw, I have a lot of stuff. Just to let you know, lol. I'm like a hoarder when it comes to NL.
