*hugs* That sucks so much when you really need/want to do something and they post-pone/change it like that... Hope you can make it through.. Also writing it down like you did here about worries might help a lot.. if you want to talk you can PM me if you want. I might be a bit slow since I'm working on an essay and looking up various facts for some films.

Also, I hope they find out what's wrong.. Knowing things but not what is the worst, tbh.

thanks love... I know I'm so frustrated. and to fast when I'm literally so dizzy and weak already..... I'm such a mess. and yes it does help me to vent on here. I may end up pming you later, thank you <3

and seriously, I know. I just want some answers. they aren't too worried but it's just always easy to worry with these things. I'm also out of work for the next few days for this and the longer they postpone this the longer I need off for work and it's just so inconvenient and UGH!

Oh yeah.. talking and/or writing helps me a lot too, probably less than I think but when I actually do it I feel way way better. Alright, take your time _^

Yeah, I meant answers, sorry for the fussy formulation.. and I feel you, sometimes I worry like frick off stupid/small things I know I shouldn't..

Yaa.. waiting is surely the worst :c

take it easy i get blood taken all the time because of my low thyroid.... just sit in the chair like a proud girl/guy and try not to swear under your breathe as the needle goes in....

alright so got my blood drawn this morning
and wow ouch... I'm super tired and weak now so I'm gonna sleep tons today.

I should know some answers by tuesday or so :)

awwwww ouch!!! luckily I didn't blackout but like they took I think 3 tubes (freaking vampires) and like a little over halfway through I felt SOOO lightheaded.

I was already crying and holding my dad and boyfriends hands (I'm pathetic) and everything like went white but I could still hear. I was like guys I'm so gonna pass out help and I had to lay my head on the arm thing and I asked for water and they also gave me a cold rag. I sat for about 5 minutes like that then they helped me up and then I went to a big breakfast with my boyfriend and dad :) ohhhhhhhh and she even gave me a cute pink armband thing when everyone else I saw got like blue hehehe ~

my nurse was the sweetest thing & I listened to a full song before she was done but it helped keep me distracted thank goodness. and she was really good and didn't poke around like I feared! she asked which arm and I said right and then she just felt it and was like oh you have a good one here lets do it! and yeah. overall it was a piece of cake but I hated how lightheaded and drained I felt (still do) >.>

Wow they must have taken quite a lot of blood! I remember I had like a blood test before, but they didn't have to take an awful lot so I'd say the whole process took about a minute in total for me, so I didn't end up feeling really light headed. At least you managed to do it though, I think the thought of it is much worse than actually doing it, besides the whole feeling like you're going to faint thing. But if you ever end up needing to go for one again you might feel a bit more confident about it since you've already done it before so you know it won't be so bad. :)

How many tubes did they take?

I saw three but I swear there could've been four. pretty sure three though..
with how I was feeling I didn't wanna look at them but I quickly glanced here and there bc she was carrying them around afterwards.

either way it sure felt like a lot I was really faint and it seemed to take like 2-3 mins.

I am horribly afraid of medical anything, and needles being at the top of the list, blood doesn't bother me or anything, and I can get pierced left and right and get a million and half tattoos, but bring a syringe into the picture and I am going to turn into a wailing 3 year old. I have medical anxiety so anything having to do with hospitals freaks me out. I have only gotten my blood taken once and it was horrible, like there wasn't really any pain or anything, but they took like a million viles of my blood and put the little suctiony needle in and sucked out a ton of blood, I stared at the wall across the room and the fact that the nurse and my mom were trying to console me made me cry even worse because I was trying to zone out and forget about it but that just brought me back and made me cry worse. I started hyperventilated and I touched the warm viles of my blood on the counter and she pulled them off... and it was really horrible and weird and awful and I wanted to vomit and after we went and ate somewhere I went home and had to take a nap because I was so exhausted from the trauma... So I mean this is going to not help you at all, but I literally can't even go into a hospital unless I am dying. Not even joking, I mean I have had some pretty awful symptoms from stuff and I just avoid it going to the hospital at all costs... So I mean I'm glad you got through it and I hope you get the answers you need!

i get injections every 6 weeks because i have pernicious anemia and it's really no big deal!! i was terrified of needles when i was younger but then my health started failing and they became a very regular occurrence for me and i'm not bothered about them at all now

the advice i would give you is bring a snack or money for food for straight afterwards, you have to fast before blood tests so you'll be pretty hungry anyway but it's important to have something sugary after you get blood drawn!! the nurse will probably make conversation with you while they're doing it, i find it helps to go along with their conversation as it distracts you from what's happening
whatever you do, DON'T look at your arm when the nurse is taking blood!!! it will completely freak you out and you'll have a much worse time than u would if u just remain calm and look the opposite direction

good luck and i hope u feel better soon!!! anemia is a pain in the a** so i know how u feel

glad to hear it went that much well, i'd probably wobble off on a chair if i ever do that stuff again

Just get your blood drawn what else is going to happen most of these tips are still invalid since it doesn't really affect you but look away maybe I don't know and diabetes isn't as bad as you think it is they tell me to think of something i like and im like i hate everything though

also make sure your muscles or whatever aren't tense and tight as **** cause it ****ing hurts for like 2 days if it does so just relax
