ok, so as the title says, I need a town name ;-; obviously you'll win some btb, just please help me!
here is ideas of what im looking for:

?cool japanese phrases/words
?something dark but also bright and cheerful at the same time (does that make sense?)
among other things

Puella? It's latin, comes from the name of an anime, and the show it comes from is hella dark but kind of bright and cheerful before getting all dark.

Memoria in Latin is memory which could be happy or dark.
Mori means to die in latin but means forest in Japanese. That might work

Lol I did the same thing. Mayor Mori of Memento. You can use that tho, no problemo xD
