Help, idk what happened..?

So I was selling my character Tia on the Villager Trading Plaza: thread here http://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?273998-Tia-the-elephant-100-ORIGINAL

And was able to sell her, and we were doing the retail method, I was watching her come back and forth to the abd and then retail, but now when I check my abd my money hasnt changed, I had 20mil before and I still have 20mil now, when im suppose to have 30mil...
Is there a waiting time? I've saved and loaded the game but still nothing.
Can anyone tell me what happened?

It won't show up until the next day in your abd when you use the re-tail method.

I think when someone buys something from Re-Tail, the funds aren't deposited into your account until the next morning.
