Having several villagers that are the same animal?

I have 1 koala, 1 bear, 1 mouse, 1 hamster, 2 goats, 1 horse, 1 hippo, and 1 cat so my town is pretty diverse haha. I'm want some dogs though!

Actually, I enjoy the cats in this game so much I might make an all cat town when I'm done giving out villagers.

I'd probably name it Katze.. which is cat in german. ^_^

I tend to have some sort of magic spell that attracts squirrels because all the squirrels I have or had moved into my town by fluke :T (Marshal, Blaire, Hazel....yuck, Filbert, Poppy and Static.) u_u I let most of them go though so I only have 3 squirrels now.

I have 2 rabbits and 2 wolves. I will be getting either Kiki or Skye as another normal villager. So I'll either have 2 cats or 3 wolves after that.

The only double I have are two cats, Kid Cat and Kabuki. I love them both ^_^

I have 2 ducks, Joey and Maelle.
I have 2 geese, Goose and Ken.
And I have 5 bird species, which is the 4 above then I have Jitters! Half of my town are bird villagers!

I wonder if it is possible to have an all-cat town! That would be very interesting, but I suppose variety keeps things interesting!

Unless I'm in love with multiple animals of the same species, I prefer to keep it one per. My village started with Knox and Broffina, and I'm not in love with most of the chickens; so Broffina was let go. I also started with Jambette, and Diva moved in shortly after. I like most of the frogs, but one will have to go if another moves in (hopefully Puddles!).

I do want all three octopuses, since they're some of my favorite types of animals in the game and real life. i wish they weren't quite so rare and popular
