Have you ever reunited with your best friend?

My sweet, sweet Tabby moved out in a TT accident. I hope to get her back soon. 
Before my old town corrupted Stitches and I were the best of friends. I remember turning on the game and always running to see my favorite villager. Whenever he had a favor said yes every time. When my turn corrupted I thought it would be a long time before I saw him again;however, one day he plotted his house as a random move in and I was elated. Unfortunately I TTed a lot back then to try to develop my new town and stitches moved out on accident. I was crushed and didn't play for a couple of weeks. I never thought that I would see him again, because of the 16 villager cycle. A year and a half later I realized that only 4 more villagers needed to move out order to get him back. I decided to try and get him back, and I did. I lost him two times and I'm not going to let him leave again.

I have Tabby in my WW town, but I don't like her as much in that game. I really want her back in New Leaf.

I had the same thing with Aurora! She was my favourite villager when I played Wild World. I remember I had a little phone charm on my brick of a handset (2008 phones). Then when I got New Leaf last year, I spent months trying to find her on the various Animal Crossing forums. Finally she moved back in to my town... then a few months later I ended up restarting my town anyway, so I lost her again.
Right now though, I'm hoping to reunite with Lolly. I actually restarted because she moved out

That's awesome! See I felt so lucky that Aurora followed me from Gamecube to a starter in new leaf. I was dumb for letting her go. I'm never letting my new one go.
