Have you ever reunited with your best friend?

Aurora was one of my original 5 and my best friend in the Gamecube town. A while ago, I made a tough choice to move her out for higher tier villagers. Now I don't even pay attention to tiers and just move in unique villagers that I really like and have been happier. However, I've been unhappy without Aurora around. Well I got through the cycle of 16 and someone just gave her to me. I'm so happy and she's right by my house like last time. I don't have a cranky right now, but it doesn't even matter. Have you ever reunited with your best villager friend? What did you have to go through to make it happen?

I got Olivia back. A few years ago I lost her in a time traveling accident, but I have her back now. I've had her back for a long time, but I'm still very careful about keeping up with my villagers in case I lose one. I also lost Lolly and Rosie once, but I got them back too.

Not yet, but here's hoping! I reset my original main town where my best friend there was Rodeo. I'm really, really hoping he turns up in my main town.

I'm glad you got Aurora back and honestly don't think people should take that tier system so seriously.

When I was new I was just so excited about the tiers but now that I've met so many different animals in game through dreams and campsite I realize how stupid tiers are unless you just sell villagers.. Nobody could replace Aurora. Not even Maple, who is my best friend in my town currently.

Ruby has been passed down since WW, and through 3 of my towns by coincidence to me...hehe. Shes a keeper.

Some villagers just have that effect!

None of my favourite villagers has moved out yet but I never paid much attention to tiers so if either Daisy or Moe moved out I'd be very upset.

I've never done the 16 villager cycle. It sounds like too much work and I prefer to just get other dream villagers instead of getting villagers I don't like just to cycle them out to get one I had already.

That said, I restarted my original town and reclaimed a few of the villagers from that town in the towns I made afterward. I reclaimed Ankha and Lucky in my main, horror movie-themed town (my map doesn't look great as a result, but I don't care much) and Cranston in my bird-themed town.

If I ever pick up another copy of New Leaf (which would be unnecessary but is nonetheless tempting), I intend to reclaim Mott and Tiffany. I let them both move out to make room for dream villagers but both have since risen to dream villager status. I regret letting them move, but eh, can't undo what has been done.

Yes! Maple was the first villager to move into my gamecube town and she was my best buddy in game. I was so happy when I got her in NL. I have eight other dreamies I want, but I don't think I'll try and get them because then Maple wouldn't be my newest villager. As long as I have Maple I think I'll be happy Thank you Sinsora for giving her to me!

I love how everyone seems to refer to their town favorites as 'best friends.'

I did this along with my sister and cousin back when we were kids with the GameCube version and we took it so seriously. I remember we didn't allow one another to so much as converse with each other's 'best friend.' If we happened to walk in and see someone else chatting with them, we would throw the biggest fit for no real reason.

I can actually recall walking in on my sister talking to Savannah and her hurriedly explaining that she was just giving something back for another villager. It was like I caught her with blood on her hands.

I had Maple and Stitches in a Wild World town years ago. I picked up the game on November 1, 2015 for the first time in about 2 years or so. I decided to reset and I got both as starting villagers! Everyone else can come and go, but I'm keeping those two!

Yes, Punchy was my favorite villager on the Gamecube version and I got him in my campsite on NL. Also got my two favorites from Wild World, Peewee and Roscoe (Peewee as a random move in, Roscoe from the campsite again). They both moved out on me unexpectedly in WW but once you're in my NL town ur here forever.

I reset my first town almost a year ago. My best friends Molly and Lucky had already moved away by that time, so resetting was a little easier. I have Lucky in my town again though, and I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't mind having Molly Back by my side again one day.

I don't remember much from when I was young, but one thing I do remember was Stitches being my best friend on Wild World. I've had New Leaf since it came out, and I've still never gotten him in my town (I don't trade villagers though, and I'd rather get him naturally). I'm not *unhappy* about it, but I'd properly freak out if he moved in or was in my campsite.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not going to do anything like buy or trade for him, so here's to hoping he'll find his own way to my town (or my town in the next AC game!).

I do remember when I played the game a year or two back I reset my town since Fauna moved and never did see her again but I found other villagers I prefer more, I still miss having her in town and was heartbroken when she moved our of all the villagers it was her.

I am hoping she turns up in my new town but I'm too attached to everyone and I already have 10...

I do this all the time! I love to see my old friends from Gamecube pop back up again! Wart Jr. is one of these and I'll never let him go! I found Ed in my campsite a couple of months ago and I was so excited! In Gamecube, I had Ed and Peaches in the same village and it was amazing.

I turned on my Gamecube and I had like 15 villagers in that town. It's a shame that we can't have that many in NL.
