i could play ACNL for a whole day and the next day i'd feel tiredof the game id go on a few days break. is it just me or?

That happens to me usually when i have been playing for a month

It's been happening to me a lot because right now i've been focused on getting all of the villagers I need for my town, so I haven't really been actually playing the game too much. When I do try to play the game as normal, I usually get bored within a few minutes of playing because I have nothing else to do and the only thing I can really do for now is check Gracies. Since I can't start decorating my town yet until i've got all of my villagers placed down. I've only been going on ACNL really when I need to go get a villager or check who's moving away, and that's kind of it really.

I play solidly for like 3 months and then don't come back for another year, I think this is what happens when you've played the game so much that you've experienced everything and then aren't really sure what else to do but you still want to keep playing acnl (at least this is what happens with me anyway)

All the time. I've played World of Warcraft for 13 years, so i definitely know the struggle. ACNL is no exception. If i feel like I'm in a rut, I usually set it down for 6 months... Then I lose my 3DS and don't have the game when I want to play it.

I've found that using this forum when I'm playing AC makes me want to play more; I've made a lot of friends, and really the game is so much more fun if you find strangers to play with! :D

I think this is common for any game, but it sometimes hits me really hard with this game. I think it's mostly because there's no real plot of the game and it's player-led. I have my own goals, but it takes a while to achieve them, and that can sometimes feel like work to me, and I can get very easily burnt out. I'll usually pick something else up for a day or two and come back to it and everything's fine. You just need to remember to take a break every now and again.

I can only stay away for two days or so and then I'm back up and running :)

I faced this a couple of times. When I got everything done, there’s not much left to do, and if that’s all I can do, I would get tired of it completely.
