Not yet. So far I'm not too attached to the villagers I'm letting go. Maybe I'll reach that point once I want all 10 of my villagers to be permanent, then suddenly an unexpected villager shows up.

Your first two villagers tend to be difficult to let go of if you didn't dislike them straight away. I was neither here nor there about Rowan, but I still only let him go 'cos he seemed hyped to move, instead of reluctant. I'll only move Charlise for Cherry, Reneigh or Muffy - no one else, and I'll miss her, she was a lot friendlier than Rowan was.
