No but I have had one appear in my campsite when my town was full.

That always happens to me.
I have 10 amiibo villagers though.

Katt was in my camping ground and I totally wanted her to move in.

Once Julian appeared randomly in my town. And on top of that he was in a "perfect" place, it was wonderful!
