Have you ever dissected anything?

Dissected some plants in my last biology lab.

I don't remember personally dissecting an animal, but I've watched a teacher do it for a class.

No, we weren't allowed to disrespect the donors. We would move their arms/legs funny ways and talk for them, but we weren't allowed to do unnecessary cutting. But it was very interesting getting to see the insides change as we get older!

It's quite fascinating really, I enjoyed it. It's amazing what you can learn from working with real human bodies.

I dissected this huge cut of mine. I saw the bone and stuff...then got sent to the hospital. Then a fish in 3rd Grade, a rat in 11th.

Dissected a cow. It was great we werelearning about respiration and no-one volunteered to dissect the cow so I did. Although that came with the job of feeling the windpipe too, pretty disturbing...

We dissected a lamb brain in 8th.

Oh and I dissected a starfish a few weeks ago for Animal Behavior.

Someone impaled the starfish and twirled it around on a knife.

Are you taking it in high school? If so, you won't deal with the humans, it's college courses that have cadavers.
