I fell down the stairs and broke my ankle yesterday so let's share stories!
That was my first time breaking a bone and also my first time in an ambulance.
When I was in eighth grade I broke my ankle, tibia, and fibula all at the same time. I was skating, and it wasn’t even a particularly nasty fall or anything lol. Ever since then I’ve been really careful about walking because I’m afraid of hurting it again. I sprained the ankle a couple years later and it was also a huge pain. :/
Same here. One time I had a faceplant going down a hill with a tricycle when I was little. I somehow did not break a single bone on impact. I did get a huge scar on my knee though and stitches on my chin. Ouch.
(I know my signature is still Christmas. I haven?t got on in a while and I?m lazy so deal with it lol)
So far I haven't broken any bones before. Which makes sense because I've never been very athletic in my life. Apparently there might be a genetic mutation in my family which increases bone density, making them harder to break, but I'm not sure whether I have it or not.
I broke my left wrist in a clean break when I was younger from falling off a bathroom countertop. Moral of the story, kid me shouldn’t have climbed onto the bathroom countertop, lmao. Thankfully it was a clean break, so it didn’t require any surgery. Just had a cast for a couple months.
Never but, that's one of my biggest fears. I find it weird that I haven't because I've done lots of weird stuff that could result in a broken bones. I hope you get better soon though!
I broke my pinky toe when I accidently kicked the doorframe as a child. Then it filled up with pus and the doctor had to squeeze it out while my toe was still broken. :/
