I love the ocean. I would love to live closer to a coast. We aren’t super far, but far enough that it’s a full-on trip. One time though when I was like, 12 or 13, I got caught in a rip tide and got dragged about 6 hotels down from where we were. I was just hanging out and then all the sudden I looked around and was like, “Wait, where did everyone go…” Luckily, my dad was a lifeguard in his college years and had told me in the past to swim parallel to the shore, not perpendicular to it. Him and his friend had to come get me, which I was glad because I was running out of energy. I don’t go out as far anymore. I go to about mid-calf, if that.

I went to the Outer Banks for my sister’s wedding and everyone spent a day on the beach before the ceremony. I remember just digging in the sand with my hands to see how deep I could go and my brother in law’s aunt went for a walk along the shore and she didn’t return for three hours. She was fine and managed to walk about five miles from where we were. The lifeguard patrol were the ones who found her.

Been there tons of times! Sure, I almost drowned several times, but it's absolutely amazing! I love going to the beach, but I hate how sand sticks to your feet, yuck.

I've seen it plenty of times when going to the beach and the handful of times I've flown. And when on a boat way out for a fishing trip I really didn't want to be part of, but my whole family was doing it. I ended up getting seasick cause the water was so choppy. It was pretty awful. I spent most of the time trying to settle my stomach.

I dislike sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.

I live near a sound which is sorta close. Even though I live on the west coast, I haven't been to any beaches anywhere all the way west near the ocean yet. I have seen the ocean in Hawaii and a couple places on the east coast.
