Have these forums ever been raided and spammed with innapropriate messages and text?

Im not sure, I know some words get censored automatically and usually no one ever tries to do much on here :p

Yeah, about a half year ago the Cafe got raided with trolls posting stupid threads. I took it way too seriously at the time. I probably should've just hit the report button and not try to get in an argument.
While they're entertaining to watch I'm glad I haven't seen one happen since.
 
I remember it happening quite a few times, actually. The funniest thing about it is that 100% of them were actual members here at one time.
 
I don't know about constant spam, but there were always trolls who loved to pick fights. Then they get banned and make a new account, then they make a new account after their second account gets banned etc.

lol remember when team "collectible" was a thing?
 
As a former mod, I can confirm that back in our Zetaboards days, we had to deal with a lot of spam. There was also a hacker who would attack us every once in while. Some of the pictures I had to see... shudders
 
I remember when one user here around March 2015 got the password of one of the admins. and he leaked the IP address of alot of users.

Im not sure what really happened in this one tho' since i joined on the 30th so :I
Also , there where times where some bots would come and get the site very slow (It was around July 2015 when these bots appeared and slowed the site down) and some would post spam on your VM but ; Otherwise nothing has really happened here c:

Those were dark days

That said I like to think we try our best here to ensure that we keep the forums relatively spam and raid free.

Is it bad that I don't even know what a zetaboard is, and also the fact I thought you were thunder for a second there.

But yeah I remember the bots, and there used to be an infamous website called the bell tree confessions where you could anonymously talk **** about other people. But then the mods of that site got exposed
 
I don't know if anyone remembers but I remember back in Fall 2014/2015 (can't remember) some spam bot flooded Brewster's with fortune telling service/love service threads. They made so much threads that you had to go back several pages to see threads that weren't spam.

Sounds like the usual trump threads these days
 
We've had a few bots in the past, one of them was posting really weird huge walls of text with weird like... spells or something it was all really odd.
