Have played many hours today and got a "Move out" thought bubble at 10:30 pm

I find the move-out mechanics so weird in the game.
I've played for many hours throughout the day - have booted up the game a number of times and Sherb got a "Move out" bubble at 10:30 at night (I denied it).
It's weird. I'd expect them to tell me earlier in the day if they plan on moving out.
Did anyone else experience this?
Are the move-out bubble timings also random?

I'm curious about this too. It seems like the villagers decide late in the day sometimes for me.

Was that the first time he got outside that day? My snooty villager wanted to move out and her thought bubble didnt show up until a little later in the day but that was because she stayed inside her house until that moment, if i remember correctly. I would prefer if they told you first time you started playing for that day, too! are move out rumors still a thing? They were really helpful in finding out which villager wanted to move out, or if there were no move out requests for that day.

I had a similar thing with Rowan though he still told me much earlier on (but he definitely didn't have it first thing in the morning).
But 10:30 at night seems kinda late especially since Lazy villagers typically sleep at 11 p.m.

No, he was out and about before as well.
He was even running around the plaza and I gifted him today as well.
I had other villagers with thought bubbles throughout the day but for other mundane things.
I talked to all villagers several times today and nobody mentioned anything about Sherb thinking about moving - so it doesn't seem like rumors are in the game anymore but I could be wrong.

That's never happened to me. They always have the bubble around 12pm-5pm for me but all should be fine no if you miss it since they won't move out until they confirm with you(?)

thought for a while you could trigger a move by talking to a villager too many tines in a day, for repeated days, because of it. lol.

Yeah, I know that they can't move without you confirming it first.
I was wondering though what would happen if I missed his thought bubble today or if I didn't play anymore for the day?
Would he also be in the queue to move tomorrow or would it be someone else?
And when is it decided when the villager moves - is it always at the start of each new day... if that's the case, why the late thought bubble?
haha... so many questions but I wonder if anyone who is more experienced with this could answer.

thought for a while you could trigger a move by talking to a villager too many tines in a day, for repeated days, because of it. lol.

That's interesting. Also glad to know that I'm not the only one who had a thought bubble this late.
I didn't talk to him an annoying number of times but I usually talk to all of them a good number times throughout the day if that makes sense... hehe
