You sort of made your first post on the forum asking people to give you something. That's really not a good impression.

I read somewhere on Facebook, on one of their community pages, that someone in Canada/Australia (one of those two) changed his SSID and was able to receive DLC since there was not a Best Buy present. He had listed the exact steps in how to receive it. I, myself, have not attempted this yet and some of the replies on the community page said that it worked. I would be cautious though for those of you who might be attempting to do this. I might just make the ten minute drive to the store to get the DLC.
I did this by tethering my phone and calling it Bestbuy. Was super easy and took 2 minutes. To everyone else. The game has only been out for a month. It wouldn't surprise me if we get new DLC down the line and nonreorderables as well. Just give it time.
Okay, what I mean is that it is unfair to make Americans have to go to Best Buy to get the DLC while the Japanese only have to get it from the comfort of their home.
As for the 7-11 and Campus furniture, that is understandable since that furniture is only made to promote them. If this Best Buy DLC was stuff like a Best Buy Sign, Best Buy Uniform and a Best Buy model it would be understandable since it is furniture that has to do with Best Buy and it is made to promote them. However, this DLC is stuff that Japan is able to get at the comfort of their own home. Although it is not a scam or fraud since you are not paying for it, it is unnecessary and very unfair to the American animal crossing new leaf players.

I got all of my Best Buy stuff from home. Just change your SSID to Bestbuy
I don't have my own router. The internet service provider my family has gave us a router that only they can change the settings on.

Yeah, ours did too until I got all over them about it. I needed something changed so that I could get one of my printers on it, and they finally broke down and gave me the password to get into the security settings. I use my ipad for the best buy DLC, though.
