Yesterday evening my husband and I played for about 2 hours total. We noticed pretty quickly Celeste was there. I thought it was odd because it was the tiniest bit cloudy (but that ended up clearing up completely a bit later) and so we waited...and waited....and while we both got her DIY for the Gemini closet, there were NO shooting stars AT ALL. I didn't think that could happen. I did know that just because she was on the island didn't mean there was going to be a meteor shower, BUT--I thought in at least 2 hours we would have seen AT LEAST SOME shooting stars! Has this happened to anyone else? I'm kinda confused because I'm wondering if I'll ever get the Gemini fragments to complete the closet now, or if whenever she's back next she'll just give me a new DIY and if I get any star fragments, they'll just be whatever the new DIY is.
Has Celeste come to your island and there's not been ONE SHOOTING STAR?

I've never seen even ONE shooting star while Celeste was on my island. And I did look at the sky, over and over again, but... nothing.

Celeste has the possibility of coming when it's clear weather (there's 4 possible weather patterns for her to come) which is also the chance of having shooting stars. I had stars and no Celeste

Celeste's been on my island five times and I've had one shooting star. Not a meteor shower. Just one star. 
We started around 9ish and finished after 11ish.
So, meteor showers and Celeste visits can happen independent of each other. Additionally, it seems like you aren't guaranteed to even have one in each season (I've been TTing to meteor shower hunt and in two different years, I've not seen a single meteor shower in Pisces season, but have had luck with Aries & Capricorn season) Kind of sucks, I wish the frequency of them happening was higher. For people without online play, or many friends, that kind of limits what you can make, especially if you don't TT.
