The title is a short version of what I'm asking.
I don't want to know what you've heard, but your own experience.
Has an amiibo villager ever pinged to move out naturally, in a town that has less than 9 amiibo villagers?
If they have, I'd like to know how many amiibo villagers you had in at the time, how long they stayed, and if you spoke with them much.

All my villagers I've used their card, so all of them are amiibo I've had almost most of them ping if not all to move lol

In one of my old towns I had Medli ask to move out a few times. I had her for a few weeks and I talked to her everyday. She was my only amiibo villager at the time.

I'm having the same problem right now.
I talk to them everyday and it's been months with not a single ping

Yes. I have 9 amiibo villagers and 1 villager I adopted from another town. Before I got Ribbot from the other town, my amiibo would ping to move constantly. It seemed a regular occurrence I'd estimate about every three days. The ping seemed very random, as each amiibo pinged at least once. I've had one amiibo, Poncho, move out of my town during a period I was not playing. I missed his ping I suppose and when I went back to playing he was gone.

I have eight Amiibo villagers and one natural villager in my cycling town and one of the Amiibo villagers,Clyde, pinged to move two days ago.Being that it's a cycling town I didn't talk to Clyde very much. He's been in this town for about two weeks.I had three natural villagers and seven Amiibos in the several months prior and only the three naturals would ping to move.Once I hit eight Amiibos, one of them finally pinged.I have around six or seven Amiibo villagers spread out through my regular towns since last November and not one of them has pinged to move.

My newest town has 5 amiibo's and 5 chickens that were adopted from players on here. I've been playing with these same villagers for months now, and only the chickens have asked to move. None of the amiibo's have.

My amiibo villagers have always pinged me to move just as randomly as my original villagers. I found that villagers from RV cards tended to ping a little less frequently than "regular" villagers that I moved in via amiibo cards. My town is now completely amiibo villagers and they ping me as though they were all original villagers.

I only just recently used my amiibo scanner thingamabob to invite a villager to live in my town. I don't know why I took so long to test it out, but I did. So I don't really know first hand, just what I heard.

Hm so does that mean that amiibo-exclusive villagers can move out, and then in to another person's town? So potentially, a way to get them without having the figures in question?

for sure they move. i'm not sure what the AI is behind all of this, but sometimes they stay longer than the ones that aren't scanned.

I've never had a single Amiibo-invited villager ping to move. Cuts down on the guesswork of knowing who will wanna leave, though, and that's kinda nice.

No. All of my neighbors who I didn't access through Amiibo cards try to move instead. Marty, Etoile, Ketchup, Bea and Cleo have never even asked, and I have had them since November or December if I remember correctly.

I have 9 regular villagers, and the 10th is Wolf Link amiibo villager. He hasn't asked to move out yet and I've had him ever since the amiibo update!

Vivian is an amiibo-only villager but I got her when she happened to be moving from someone else's town. She pinged me to leave yesterday.
I haven't actually got specific cards with villagers that I actually want to move in so I haven't tested that yet.

Yes, I have original and amiibo card villagers they both pinged me but the original ones ping a lot more.

Amiibo cards villagers - but not the NPCs or the Sanrio villagers.

I have 4 towns and use the amiibo cards and figures. In the two towns where more than half the villagers are amiibo villagers, then it seems they ping to move out normally along with non amiibo villagers.

In the other two towns where I have only 2-3 amiibo villagers, the amiibo villagers never ping to move.
