She donates money to organizations that harm trans people. Buying her merch, etc supports that. People can spend their money on whatever they want but they should be aware that's what it's being used for unfortunately.

I don’t think she’s really making that much off of Lego though. They are one of the largest toy manufacturers in the world and they are probably paying WB the rights to produce Lego Harry Potter as every set and mini figure are based on characters seen in the movies with the exception of the Four Hogwarts Founders and the Architect of Hogwarts Castle. There are no book only characters such as Peeves or Professor Binns. If anything, JK is making very little from Lego if at all. If she was being paid a lot by the company for rights purposes then we’d have Peeves, Winky, and Professor Binns mini figures already along with Penelope Clearwater and Charlie Weasley who would have definitely been included in that expensive Burrow set that had all of the Weasleys.

To be honest, I buy the Harry Potter stuff because I'm a huge of of it. Even Daniel who played Harry Potter is in a feud with her as well as Emma Watson. I like the Harry Potter stuff but I'm not a fan of how she's treating others. That being said, I created this so we can dicuss the series. Not based on her actions

The one thing I regret about my Hogwarts castle is completely taking it apart to put in a storage bin when I moved and letting all of the pieces get mixed up when I moved. Aside from the Charms Classroom and Herbology Greenhouse from the most recent version of the Castle and the Flying Lesson set from 2020, I only have managed to successfully rebuild Lockhart’s office and classroom plus the Fluffy Encounter room and the slide leading into the Chamber of Secrets. Moaning Myrtle’s bathroom is almost completed but I’m still searching for the mirror and sink pieces in this massive pile of bricks. But once I finish rebuilding everything, I still need to find somewhere where I can display the entire thing that is large enough. I’m only missing the Fat Friar and Bloody Baron for the House ghosts but I have the other important ghosts including Moaning Myrtle. I hope that I can rebuild everything because I spent so much money on this version of Hogwarts Castle.
I don't see this being discussed much, but Moaning Myrtle really doesn't deserve the hate she gets, she was literally a kid who lived a miserable life at Hogwarts being bullied and then died from the Basilisk's stare. I think her being immature as a ghost is partly coming from her being a kid and being stuck that way since ghosts don't age. She also had to make the decision to either be a ghost or move on even though she wasn't at the age where she could fully understand her decision.

I agree. She’s such a tragic figure that even in death she doesn’t get the respect that she deserves. She was bullied by her peers while alive and as a ghost in the books, Peeves still taunts and bullies hers d the other ghosts avoid her. For literal decades she unknowingly had info about Voldemort that he didn’t seem to realize that she possessed such as him being Tom Riddle Jr and being able to talk in Parseltongue given she heard him speak it right before she died. Interesting fact about the actress who played Myrtle is that she was the oldest actor in the movies to play a student. I bought my Lego Myrtle mini figure off of a seller on eBay that had the blind bag version of her which I liked better than the one from the Advent calendar a couple years back due to more movie accurate colors and her second face print. I plan on making her float in between the stall and the sinks in the Bathroom.

I think with the whole situation with J.K is so many people are like connecting Harry Potter with what she's saying. To me, Harry Potter was created long before this and it should stay separately from her even through she wrote the books. I had a friend who told me don't read the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. That it's bad

Exactly. Up until The Cursed Child is as far as I will go with anything written by her. The video games I see as being completely separate because they are only based on her work and not directly created by her.
