Hand held or tv?

Handheld, because I like to watch TV while playing.

I was so pumped when the Switch Lite came out because my OG Switch was acting up (it stopped recognizing when the joycons were attached which, since I only played in handheld mode, was a big problem.)

Even when I get the Switch 2 I don't see myself hooking it up to the TV much. I've preferred handheld consoles since I was a kid and got my first GameBoy.

I have always preferred hand helds. So I got the switch lite. Then I got another switch lite so I could have a second island. I don’t have a tv in my room so the only one is in the living room. So I would only be able to play if my mom wasn’t home . I am going to wait it out and see if they eventually come out with a switch lite 2.

I strictly play with the Switch docked to the television. From the day I got the Switch back in 2018, I was always seeking to avoid Joy-Con drift and so have barely utilized the Joy-Cons except for cases where they're strictly necessary for use like in Mario Party Jamboree. I prefer to instead use the Pro Controller for most games, though I use the GameCube controller for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Even if Joy-Con drift wasn't an issue to be considered, though, I've always preferred playing games on a big screen like a television or computer instead of handheld. There are plenty of games that are only on handheld consoles like the DS and 3DS that I enjoy and play on handhelds, but considering that the Switch can be played either handheld or docked, I don't know why I'd want to play it handheld other than on a trip or something.

Mostly docked, occasionally handheld. I prefer how the graphics look on the TV, but handheld feels more comfortable when I'm particularly focused on designing/decorating. That battery never seems to last long enough for me on any game though!

I prefer docked, but honestly I do both. I love seeing the nice crisp graphics on the big screen, but being cozied up in bed with a latte playing on the lite isn't too bad either. Also some functions like writing letters to villagers are much more convenient on handheld.
