Modern was actually easy, I thought, just a bit goofy. Blue retro dress from Able's, Oval shades from Labelle, clogs from kicks. Got a piece of furniture for me and two other players (I let the 3rd user buy the outfit since I was done!)
Ornate was rough since you have to have an accessory and there wasn't much. (I got everything else from the Able's though.) I was lucky that she didn't ask for it; but I had a friend with the crown who was willing to bring it over for me. The girl's day updo will work, apparently, and that's re-orderable so not too much $$$. But when I was making my outfits I didn't know it was the same things as the "Empress' Tiara Wig" so I didn't know that I had it!!
Would it be helpful if there was a thread where people posted what outfits worked for them, do you think? And how well? (like my "basic" outfit only got me a top, but all the other outfits were awarded furniture)
