Gracie is missing?

I had a bit of a weird situation happen in one of my towns.
I recently took over my husbands game and have been TT'ing to move out unwanted villagers.

I traveled forward four days and saw Gracie at the plaza. This was great since it would be the final check I needed to get the emporium in that town.

I talked to her and passed the evaluation. I time traveled I believe three days forward and the emporium wasn't yet built. I talked to Timmy or tommy and they never mentioned the shop needing to close for repairs.

I assumed I did something wrong.. Not sure what though.

I continued to travel and talked to a couple of villagers and they told me Gracie was in town again. However when I went to the plaza she wasn't there..

Anyone have this happen? I don't know what happened. Feeling confused by the indecisive and invisible Gracie...

Are you sure it was the fourth fashion check? A lot of people only assume you need three (like me in the beginning lol)

I am sure. This would be my third time getting the emporium and she brought up the dialog about her making her final decision and opening up..

These kinds of things happened to my friend in a similar way with club LOL. He got all the signatures and Shrunk said he was going to open up in less than a week. It's almost been a year and his club still hasn't opened.

It's been open for 4 months.. I've opened the emporium twice before..

I think she is just being stubborn.

I had problem with her. First gameplay there was no Gracie in the morning so I save and quit.
6 hours later I started the game up and Gracie was in the event plaza. Not sure what happened.
Since your TT does count? Jumping 4 days ahead counts as one day in gameplay I think.
If you TT alot in that town than the 30 days could be just finishing.

If you don't care to, and still remember the date of the supposed fourth check, I'd TT back to that day. Save and quit. Then TT a day forward. Nothing? Save, quit. TT another day. I don't know if this would help, but it has with some other problems I've read about.
