Anyone else here have planned certain goals which are however not that easy to implement? Mostly because it will may take a long time till you even implemented them at all or because of other reasons?

One goal I kinda try to reach right now is actually getting all 8 new villagers on my island. I mangend to get so far 4 out of 8 (Audie, Dom, Cyd and Sherb). I guess it will be not that hard to get Megan and Reneigh, but it will be a pain in the butt to get my hands on Judy and especially on Raymond, as I can not offer such huge amounts of IGB and/or NMT for them (besides, it seems nobody really takes TBT for either of them here?). I know it will take some time, but I think it's fun to try it out.

i actually wanted raymond before the game released and had put him on my list for villagers i wanted but i legit cannot afford him at the prices he goes for but then my sister ordered me an amiibo for julian and marshal and now i don't really want raymond since 3 smug villagers is too many
the only other plan i've had that's a struggle is getting blue roses for apollo's garden like in the movie ♡

Hmm, I think my only hard goal is the make my island look both good in-game and on the map. D:<
It's pretty decent looking in-game but on the map the waterfall looks like a blob and that really bugs me.

Terraforming the Evergrande City (from Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire) from scratch. I severely underestimated it. I'm floored. (I mean, I made amazing progress but still underestimated it.)

I legitimately had no idea Sherb and especially Judy would be so hard to get. The fact that NMT are basically the only currency people take anymore has been a severe hindrance in my villager search.

Finishing my island in general. I know I won't ever finish it as I know I'll always have stuff I wanna change about it.

this sounds amazing!! please share photos if/once you're comfortable doing so- i'd love to see how it's going!

Not so much of a goal since I wan't sure what I wanted to begin with, but I didn't realize how difficult/slow it would be to have villagers move out without TT.

I feel like I severely underestimated the time it takes. About a week after the game was released, some guide I read said it took about three days for villagers to decide to move and I feel like that was so wrong.

I really wish I could visit Nook Miles Islands and have potential villagers there to visit like a waiting list until someone finally decides to move out.

i guess the hardest goal for me so far is attempting to get all my dreamies myself. it doesn’t have anything to do with the glitch but i just think i’ll feel more accomplished and happier if i get all my dreamies myself instead of buying them off of other people.

also keeping up a daily journal is harder than i thought it would be lmao

I finished the base (waterworks, the waterfall and the top) but not the rest of it, I've held out on it because I was betting I can get hedge fences this Earth Day and Nintendo delivered! We can only sadly have two tier of cliffs so the intimidating waterfall isn't that "intimidating" but if they only allowed three then that would be amazing...!

It's a mini version of the thing too so not that like "perfect". It just looks like Evergrande at least! I really love Hoenn and wanted to have a reference to it. I was hoping I can just copy Fortree City but you can't plant trees near cliffs so that's a letdown. Oof.

I'll definitely show it once I'm satisfied!

i just want a pretty island lol but terraforming really has me seething 😔 just found out something was off center after hours of work T^T

Same, 6 of my villagers are ones that I want to move out... and it's been like two weeks since anyone has asked to move. I have a decent amount of Nook Miles Tickets waiting for when I can look for villagers, and I'm getting tempted to try and TT a villager out.

One of my most challenging goals rn is to make a house that's uniquely me but also super cool and organized. I have two rooms that are pretty much finished so far, but the other ones are just kinda all over the place.

I'm also currently working on a neighborhood area for my town and I'm just kinda going off of what I think it should look like (tried to find ideas online to no avail) and I keep having tochange things around because it's not how I envisioned it before. I was initially planning something like this:

O = Villager House
X = Park Bench n stuff
R = River

R O O
O X O
O O O
O O O
The way the river is shaped is making it difficult lol (also no I'm not interested in terraforming, I'd rather try to work with my current layout, the idea of terraforming stresses me out too much).

My goals were to pay off my house and get multiples of all the hybrids. Both have been a challenge. My house is taking a long time because I don't play the stalk market, and keep spending my bells on nice bridges and 100k+ items from Nook's Cranny. Whoops! I have most of the upgrades, but the basement is taking me forever.

As for hybrids, thankfully I was able to trade with some extremely generous people and get a number of types and colors. However, I am having horrible luck crossbreeding anything on my own. I felt like in WW and NL I could get multiple hybrids every day, but here I seem to get zero most days, or occasionally one or two.

I feel like getting a proper number of green mums and other multi-step hybrids is going to take me forever! Luckily for me, I intend to keep playing for a very long time, so I'm sure I'll get there in the end. :) It's always good to have a long-term goal, right?

Of course, my other goal is to complete the museum, but I know from past games that I will likely never do so as filling the art section takes years (literally) since Redd only comes once a week and his inventory is random. So perhaps a more manageable goal is to just complete the bug, fish, and fossil sections.

EDIT: Oh man, I forgot about getting a town full of dreamies! And specifically, getting them without buying or trading for them. It's so much more exciting to go island hopping and have the thrill of getting lucky finding them! I've found 4 dreamies that way so far, plus one starting villager dreamie and another that randomly came to camp.

Also, villager pics. Teddy, Marina, Tangy, Blanche, Flora... Why won't you love me?! (I know, I know, I have to actually start sending them letters and presents. If only writing didn't take so ridiculously long...)

I really wanted to make a garden for each flower species with 2 or 3 of each color. I didn't anticipate how much room that would take, so I may have to only do my favorites (hyacinths, tulips, roses, and lillies)

I want to get all the new villagers at one point but that’s going to be hard.

umm town specific... I have to move all my villager houses because I messed up the placement and I have to move a cliff wall back to give some villagers a bigger yard, which I’m not really pleased about. That’s not going to be hard but it’s going to take time.

Build... anything! This is my first AC game and I've found I love growing flowers and looking for DIYs and cataloging items so much so far that I've made absolutely zero progress on my island and fear at this rate I never will. XD

Oh, my Lordt, Dormire, that sounds incredible. The OG Sapphire was my very first video game and Pokemon game, and obviously Alpha Sapphire was a total delight for me. When you're ready to share images, I would LOVE to see them!

Honestly, I'm struggling to plan or build much of anything. I mean, my waterfall grotto is nice, but it's the only big terraforming project I've done. I'm waiting on spooky items for my northern forest, I would need actual mannequins to really improve my Ghost of the Lighthouse... I need more hybrids to grow before I garden the town center... I'm mostly doing things as they come to me.

EDIT: Spelled your name correctly this time. Apologies, I've been on 3-4 hours of sleep a day for the past five days and I'm dyyyying.

Since going around every nooks and cranny (Not the shop) on trying to get every spot in my town wonderfully fabulous is going well, I think trying to get Cashmere as my dream villager would be a hard thing to do.

1: I don't have her amiibo card, and I'm not forking out 20$+ on her card to make things easy.
2: I have 9 of my dream villagers, so getting Cyd to move out may take months.
3: I could collect so many NMT all by myself (I have Raymond, but I would NEVER move him out for some NMTs) that it would never spawn Cashmere at the mystery islands that they'd all be a waste only for a random villager to move in and it not being her. Going through the process all over again.
4: The villager adoption glitch might not fix for a long time.

(I feel like one of the only users here that actually like Cashmere...)
