I hit the 500 hour mark like 3 weeks ago and Phineas STILL hasn't given me the stupid badge. He's shown up several times since then but he's given me other badges, not the Village of Honor one.

just sit around with the one with the most playtime I guess

I reset when I went past the 500 hours mark, does this mean I have to play ANOTHER 500 hours? and does the same apply for street passes? (not my thread but i thought i'd ask as it's been bugging me for a while)

not 100% sure, but my guess would be yes, since everything was reset and you have a new character, it wouldn't really make sense for you to get badges that you achieved on a past character right away...

okAy the activity log time is just a total number, for all chars and towns. if you think uve played on alt 2 the most, sit around on alt 2 until you see phineas.

Yes.

Badges are based on the specific character that earns them, not the total across all characters. So stuff like the activity log info doesn't matter, as it'd onyl count progress for the fraction that character was loaded.

Not sure how streetpasses work exactly though, but its probably close to the same. Perhaps last player loaded gets the points toward the streetpass badge? Either way, new town would still reset that to 0.

As for the StreetPass badge, whoever has their house up as the model will get the points towards the badge.
