Gifting Wallpapers and Flooring to Villagers

Hey,

i am wondering if it possible to gift floorings or wallpapers to villagers (7-10th villagers so not the initial 6). I know you can give them items, but do they eventually switch out their decor? Thanks in advance!

you can gift them but they won't change their house decor with them unfortunately!

I gave a wooden floor to Sherb and he acted pretty upset, like I had given him trash. I wouldn't suggest it, they don't put them down either. Overall, bad experience!
