Gardening Help!

I have decided to grow a few hybrids for my town, mainly gold roses for my GF. I planted three blue, gold, pink and Jacob ladders in a V formation, I have 24 blues, 4 pinks, 3 JL. I guess my question is why blues bloom like crazy and the others don't? They are all on the beach, no fertilizer. Any help or suggestions please

Well gold won't grow like other hybrids. You have to grow black roses. Then let them wilt and water them with the gold can.
Jacob Ladder will only spawn on the edge of cliffs when you have perfect town rating but they do help with hybrids spawning other hybrids if that's what you mean...For me JL's slowed down in spawning after I got over 6 of them; storing them in your closet or house helps to ensure they keep spawning quickly.

Most people suggest growing in a specific pattern like so:
x_x_x_x
_x_x_x
x_x_x_x
x= hybrid _ = space

So you have spaces in between. Fertilizer definitely helps as does watering with the gold can...and people experienced in TTing use that to grow them extremely fast.

Wow, you seem to have no problem getting blue roses. I've been breeding for a blue rose for days and I haven't gotten one yet, xD

But yeah, what Melsi said. You need to breed black roses first and let them wilt, then water them with the golden can. Keep in mind that if you have the beauty ordinance in your town, flowers don't wilt, so you'll be unable to get gold roses.

gold with gold doesnt work like you think it does

you get plain old yellow roses with that

nope, never

so you'll either need to turn off beautiful town temporarily when you want to get the gold roses made or get help from someone whom you can trust

flower won't wilt even if they are on the beach?

Even if they're on the beach and you don't water them for a year straight. As long as the beautiful town is in effect, none of your flowers will wilt. You'll have to either change the ordinance until you get the amount of roses needed, or breed a bunch of black roses and drop them off at a town (of someone you trust) without the beauty ordinance enabled and have them do it for you, then pick up the golden roses when they're ready.
