When you try to unlock your Nintendo Switch in portable mode (or a Switch Lite in case of the lites), have you ever pressed an alternative button or trigger to unlock your Switch? We know the common sounds when you press A or most buttons, but you’ll hear different sounds when you press the ZL button or the ZR button, as well as pressing down the left stick or right stick. Each of these four triggers have their own sounds too.

I thought this was gonna be about some kind of damage to your switch lol
This is what’s you’re gonna hear when you unlock your switch:
  • Most Buttons (like A, B, X, and Y) - you’ll hear a common clicking sound
  • ZL - you’ll hear a different clicking sound like if you’re hearing a snap when closing a plastic battery lid
  • ZR - you’ll hear a party horn or bike horn honking
  • Left Stick (press down) - you’ll hear some strange robotic sound
  • Right Stick (press down) - you’ll hear some other weird sound
You should try it yourself. It’s pretty cool.

Oh wow, I forget you can even press the sticks down, I didn’t expect those to work
