For those who do not Time Travel, how did your first Pumpkin harvest go?

I planted 50 starts in front of my resident services, and I just harvested them. I got an absurd amount of orange pumpkins, an alright amount of white pumpkins and basically no green and yellow pumpkins. Like less than 8 each.

How did your harvest go?

I only planted 9 starts in a 3x3 square and I got 8 oranges and 1 green.

I planted 30 starts while still in September after I got some seeds from a friend, then another 10 the next day on Oct 1. I only got 3 white, 4 green, and 2 yellow (all 3 pumpkins each from watering) and the rest were orange. I replanted some of the green and white ones but none of the yellow. I planted some more starts yesterday though so we'll see what I get from there.

I only planted 14 pumpkins and got 36 orange, 3 green, 3 yellow, and no white

Muuuuuuch better than I expected. I legit thought we were getting, like, one pumpkin per seed planted but I got way more than I thought. Do we know if it's possible to grow those pumpkins even after October? ô_o

I planted 27, can’t remember exact numbers but mostly orange, then quite a few white, yellow green. Replanted the rarer ones as I may use to customise. Not sure if I will bother as the original colours look more Halloweeny

Far as I know they grow all year-round, but the seeds can only be bought from Nook's Cranny in the month of October, and all year Leif can carry them when he visits your island.

How did your harvest go?

I planted 20 starts and got two sets of white, three sets of yellow and fifteen sets of orange (three of each one). My fiancee actually got a mix of orange, yellow, white and green so she gave me a harvest of three greens to plant on my island as well. She got LUCKY with her first harvest...I think four of her plants turned into greens.

I planted 21 starts on the 1st Oct (only could fit 21 in my farm I made). I got 16 orange plants, 1 white plant, 2 green plants, and 2 yellow plants. I got all of the colours which I am over the moon with. I got another 23 ready to harvest tomorrow as I made a second farm

I planted 60-ish starts and ended up with at least four green, white, and yellow plants. My S/O ended up with only one green pumpkin plant with the balance orange, so I gave him a couple white and yellow pumpkins to plant in his next batch. :>

Continue to water them and they'll regrow after two or three days (forgot which) after you pluck them.

I planted 216 starts, just to make sure I would get a nice amount of the colored pumpkins as well. I ended up with 18 white pumpkin plants, 25 green pumpkin plants and 22 yellow ones. I am keeping 18 of each plant, so I had to dig up a lot of orange pumpkin plants after that! XD

Yep you can replant the actual harvested pumpkin and it will be a new start. It will grow into the planted colour instead of a random colour.

Harvested 70 starts for a total of 210 pumpkins. I'm not at my Switch right now, but got a ton of orange, then a decent haul of green, then yellow, then white.

I planted 25, and got mostly orange, a decent amount of yellow and white, and just 3 green.

It went pretty well. I have 44 plants total. All of them had two pumpkins each because it rained the day I planted them. I had four green plants, four white and three yellow. I sold all the orange plants and planted new starts in their place to see about improving my stock of rare colors.

I then sold two stacks of my orange pumpkins and gave out a few pumpkins to my villagers, which was cute. Then, of course, I crafted the DIYs I have currently.

Offtopic, but I love the green version of the spooky arch! It's got a pretty, nature-y color scheme to it

I... what. That seems so obvious and yet I just planted another 40 new seeds hoping to get more yellow and green randomly. =.=
Guess I'll plant some of what I harvested in my plots and just see what those 40 surplus give me.

As for the thread, I planted a bit over 100 seeds, got 15 white, 6 green, 4 yellow and around 85 orange. Looking at comments here I was very unlucky! But I'm wondering if it's because my game is currently in August, as I'm playing every in game day as I TT to catch up, but keep playing a day and not TTing so I'm not catching up at all.

I don't know how many I planted but I was pleasantly surprised to have a good amount of the other colours. I've been replanting the green, yellow and white pumpkins today to have a better mix and less orange. Beautiful.
