For those who do not Time Travel, how did your first Pumpkin harvest go?

Is anyone rearranging the colors of the pumpkins in their patch? While I like having them mixed, I'm debating about moving the white and green pumpkins elsewhere and having my main patch be all orange and yellow.
I rearranged mine yesterday. Right now each color has its own patch. I might change it once I don’t need as many pumpkins.

I think I planted about 40 pumpkin starts and I didn't get as many yellow or green pumpkins as I wanted. I think it was 5 or 4 of each. My white ones I ended up with 6 which I am find with. The rest were orange and while crafting, I am glad I got mostly orange pumpkins... because of how the crafting system is with pumpkin items.
I will probably buy and plant more pumpkin starts. When the season is over with, I was planning on having 6 plants of each color on my island. but now I am unsure if I want that many. I may knock it down to 4 of each color or even 3.
Anyone else planning on keeping pumpkin plants year round for fun?

I'm going to have them until the beginning of winter. Then I was planning on removing them. Maybe I'll have a couple of white pumpkins on my third level for decoration. I haven't fully decided.

I’m keeping most any outdoor plant year round because I have a chaotic forest aesthetic. I’ve been growing pumpkins everywhere in my forest (I’m keeping orange pumpkins solely on my gnome city area while the other colors grow wild everywhere else). If they add more crops I’m going to do the same with those!

sounds really cute. I am sure they will have more crops later. Maybe we will have crops to make cookie looking things. like a gingerbread cookie fence or a gumdrop stool.

I'm not sure how many I planted but I got several stacks of orange, a couple yellow/white, and a few green. I think I got at least a stack of each color, which I think is ok... also didn't know to water my first batch of pumpkins but it seems the harvest was ok regardless.

I planted 25 pumpkin starts and luckily got at least one plant of each color! Thankfully I remembered to water so I got 3 pumpkins for each plant 😊
I ended up planting majority of the rare color ones and moving my orange ones to other areas to use as decoration

Only planted 12 starts, was able to get 1 bunch of white pumpkins, 3 green, and 8 orange. Considering how rare the white ones are, I'm excited that I already have some after my first harvest!

Of the 30 I planted, I got 3(9 due to watering) each of yellow, white, and green. The rest were orange. I was pleased to have gotten a little of each color and plan to plant those in a manner I'll have a 12 pumpkin patch with 4 of each color regularly growing this month. That should give me more than enough, I really don't need to end up with hundreds of pumpkins.

I planted 80 starts. Only 1 sprouted yellow. White and green are more common than I thought. Thankfully, I watered it everyday so I got 3. But instead of saving those, I replanted them so I could have more.

I planted 28. 3 were white, 1 was green, and the rest were orange. Got 0 yellow.

I planted about 70 starts. I got enough of the rare colors for more starts of those colors. Not planting any more orange though. Dunno how many I'll keep around after crafting all the items I want.

40 orange (one removed for a deer scare)
8 yellow
8 green
5 white

plenty to work with for me, especially as I'll be downsizing these after we get the vegetables next month

I planted 20 starts, got about 12 oranges and 3 or so of the others, all triples.

I think 20-25 starts is more than enough to last the month, and I just love the overall decor of them.

I planted 20 originally, got 14 orange and 2 each of the other three colours, so I'm pretty pleased with that. Second harvest today so I'm racking up the pumpkins pretty quickly !!

I planted 50 starts in front of my resident services, and I just harvested them. I got an absurd amount of orange pumpkins, an alright amount of white pumpkins and basically no green and yellow pumpkins. Like less than 8 each.

How did your harvest go?

I planted only 10 pumpkins. I got 4 orange ones, 2 yellow, 2 green and 2 white. Guess I'm just lucky

i had a medium-ish farm outside my house that i set up literally right after i watched the trailer because pumpkins!! i had about 24 spaces, and my first harvest went well! but now i just have way more pumpkins than i know what to do with.
