Fleas

Is there any species of animal that don't get fleas in ACNL? i know hamsters, cats and dogs can get fleas.
ones without fur still can get fleas eg. octopi?

Aquatic animals? unless of course sea fleas exist which i dont think they do they do and they eat dead marine flesh, but will also eat live human flesh yikess

Edit: I did a bit of searching and apparently fish gets fleas too, you learn something new everyday, and also why am i searching whether certain animals have fleas?

Edit 2: Did a bit more searching and im convinced every animal gets fleas, (fleas are parasites and they dont favor a certain host over the other, whatever is at their disposal, also there are a lot of species of fleas out there) and i still dont know why im researching fleas

I'm pretty sure horses don't get fleas. They can get ticks and lice though.

I can't tell of this is for ACNL or not.

I'm pretty sure in ACNL all the animals get fleas. I have birds get fleas on them. I've actually never had an octopus so I can't say for them.

For real life, I know birds can get bugs, I think it's possible, if they were around somethin that had fleas, to get them.

Fish can get fleas, so i can confidently say that octopus can get fleas as well

In New Leaf every villager can get fleas.
Even species where it doesn't make sense, like octopi and frogs.
Guess that's what happens when you put together 10 animals and who knows how many NPCs and most of them don't even own showers.
