FireFox VS Google Chrome VS Internet Explorer VS Safari VS Opera

You can't blame Apple for advertising their browser. More people need to try it out to so they can see for themselves how great it is. Besides, Google advertises Chrome like crazy, and Microsoft doesn't even need to advertise IE because it's preinstalled on Windows. Firefox is only used as much as it is today because it's keep its popularity from the days before Safari and Chrome where it was pretty much the only good browser out there. But even after better browsers like Chrome and Safari were released, many people who are used to Firefox refuse to change browsers, much like people who refuse to switch from IE because it's what they're used to. Of course, some people stick with Firefox for the add-ons, which was the biggest thing that was keeping me from switching, but I soon found that Safari also has add-ons for everything I wanted, and more.

Well I have the same beef with IE for Microsoft's forcible installation of it, but IE also sucks so there are worse reasons to avoid it

I doubt it'll be long before you're asked which browser you want to use when you install Windows.

I think the reason that IE is the most used is because a lot businesses and school have them installed on the PC's. I have noticed some changes though. The computers at my school did have IE on them, but now they all have FireFox. Maybe Microsoft will discontinue IE one day...

That is exactly how the computers in my school are. All you could use was Internet Explorer, it was only until this year that they also had firefox on the computers.

Being a user of Internet Explorer all my life, I have to say that's my favorite. However, I've also used all of the others for different things *Firefox for the bell system here, Google Chrome from a recommendation, Opera on the Wii, Safari on the iPod* They're all good, but I'm just so used to IE that I don't really use any others.

Internet Explorer is the most awful browser ever, I can't see why anyone would choose to use it.

Because they're lazy and don't want to change the default browser on Windows. >_> Seriously, Internet Explorer is just pure fail. Windows really needs to stop packaging it with their operating system (or just stop making their operating system altogether, lol).

Deleting the desktop icon isn't deleting the entire browser. IE has so many source files on Windows that it's quite difficult to completely remove it from your computer, and if you do, you'll likely *censored.3.0* up your operating system.

It's not that bad :s

You may not be able to notice how bad it truly is, but trust me, it's horrible, even if you can't see it. IE is just a giant security flaw.

I still prefer Chrome because Firefox makes me claustrophobic.

Internet Explorer is just integrated well into Windows 7.
