I have a pro-tip for you! You're not funny!

Anyways guys, why in the hell are we getting a Mac thread into this discussion? This discussion is only for Firefox, Google Chrome, IE, Safari, and Opera. You all know that Safari and the other browsers can be used on basically any computer. They all have their cons and pros. Also please don't say that "SAFARI IS THE BOMB BECUZ IT IS ON A MAC!!!!!!!!111111!!!!!!!1111" I see no point of saying that because of it can be runned on a PC. It might not the be the best browser for PC to use but it sure can be run on a PC. Also Google Chrome people say it is the best bowser and my use of it before I got into FireFox was that it crashed a lot. But I used it in the beta so I'm pretty sure that it would have a lot of bugs and glitches.

wut

Use to use firefox, now I use safari because I like the top ten most visited sites thing. Both are equally fast though.

I like Chrome for its simplicity and speed, but it seems to make transparent-background images black when you copy & paste on GIMP.

For me, at least.

I will be honest here, I think chrome works a little faster than firefox, but I like the layout of firefox better and the slight time improvement is not worth it to me. I have only ever used safari on other computers so I cannot compare, but the fact that I actually use itunes for an ipod, and on later updates they try to get me to download safari, it makes me want to try it less.... it feels like they are trying to force it...

Either way I m happy with my current browsing experience. And besides the logo is a fox! MADE OF FIRE! <3

You can't blame Apple for advertising their browser. More people need to try it out to so they can see for themselves how great it is. Besides, Google advertises Chrome like crazy, and Microsoft doesn't even need to advertise IE because it's preinstalled on Windows. Firefox is only used as much as it is today because it's keep its popularity from the days before Safari and Chrome where it was pretty much the only good browser out there. But even after better browsers like Chrome and Safari were released, many people who are used to Firefox refuse to change browsers, much like people who refuse to switch from IE because it's what they're used to. Of course, some people stick with Firefox for the add-ons, which was the biggest thing that was keeping me from switching, but I soon found that Safari also has add-ons for everything I wanted, and more.

Most used ≠ best. If that was true, then IE would be the best browser ever. >_>
I think the reason that IE is the most used is because a lot businesses and school have them installed on the PC's. I have noticed some changes though. The computers at my school did have IE on them, but now they all have FireFox. Maybe Microsoft will discontinue IE one day...
