Well, I live in the Northern part of Florida, so they should be around there, but it might be that they don't go towards urban areas, not sure.

But nah, I don't usually see them all that much, so I was wondering how often other people had seen them.

The only times I ever see Fireflies are when I go up north for the summer.

I know one is around like November or something and another is in the summer.

I love fireflies, and this is coming from a bugophobe! Fireflies on a summer night are almost magical. X3

They won't be showing up here for a while, probably until midsummer (it's cold). :<

I know, time for those lovebugs to perform their role in life and get smashed into our cars by the bucketful.

@ Jeen: May and September usually, I believe. If I remember right, I think they show up right before and after summer.
