Financial Times talks about Bank of Nook lowering interest rates in Animal Crossing

As someone who studied journalism, this is the type of articles i wanna write.

That might be the most boomer thing I've ever heard in my life, dear lord.
It's not Boomer so much as it is people creating a fake position that they know is ludicrous, but the state and people pay them to do nothing.

Do they know it's ludicrous, though? I'm sure they were aware that they were being pushed to run 'vidya gaems bad' narratives, but I don't think for even one minute that anyone in that video realized how utterly ridiculous they sounded.

especially the guy who said that he couldn’t think of a legitimate reason for adults to play animal crossing. Sorry...I’m a 45 year old child, then.

You guys should watch the King of the Hill episode where Dale joins a government task force to remove the snakes from the sewers. The two people who orchestrated it just end up playing guitar hero all day. Whenever I see this AC taskforce thing I think of them doing that. Except they're really playing AC because it's fun and they want to do it on your tax dollars.
