I didn't think I'd wanna post something celebratory on here like this but I'm so overwhelmed with joy. Fuschia, one of my OG Island friends from the very beginning just gifted me with her picture. I was giving her a daily gift of some fruit and she gave it to me. She had been giving me the average gifts of clothing or 650 bells every day until today so I actually never saw it coming. I'm just so happy. She was one of my first villagers and probably my first friend on the island, and the first to give me their photo. Good luck collecting those sweet little pics!

Gift-wrapped furniture has the largest boost when given but I don't want to change their interiors so I stick with gift-wrapped foreign fruits instead.
So far Rolf, Sterling, Rudy, and Dobie have high friendship with me (catchphrase, favors). But still not high enough to gift me their pictures.

Congratulations! I've been trying hard to boost my friendship with all my villagers for a while now. I've finally started getting some photos this week and it really feels great! Just realized you can click on the photos before I logged off a few minutes ago and got the feels.

I've received 3 villager photos in the last 3 days. I've used this site: https://nookplaza.net/tools to find out what gifts the villagers want, and it has worked for Ozzie, Dora and Mathilda!!
Click Villager Gifts on the right, and then put your villager name and click Find Something Magical. You can click it a few times and it will cycle through a few pages of gifts that the villager wants. I think you have to have 'helped' (given them the gift they want, medicine, found bugs for them, played Treasure Hunt etc) them a certain number of times (maybe 3) before you get their photo.
