I've actually wanted toon zelda since her her speculated inclusion in brawl

I voted for Muddy Mole, and I hope others consider doing the same. He's from an old, underappreciated game (Mole Mania), and you know how Nintendo loves old game characters. There are so many unique things they could use for a moveset for him, too. Plus, there are a lot of mole characters and enemies in Nintendo's history that I feel like having their mole protagonist as a fighter would be a good homage.

Also I wanna kick the s**t out of people as a teeny tiny mole

I voted for Geno. I would love to see how they turn his skills into a brawl move set. Plus he's always been one of my favorite Mario characters. I'd love to see him in a game again!

I probably should have put more thought into this. Oh well! It's not like mine is going to get picked anyway. I would love for Toon Zelda from Wind Waker to be added to the game. She's my favorite out of all the different Zelda designs. Looking at all of the replies there are tons of better choices to add to the game and had I known I was voting on the Nintendo website my answer would have been different.

Nobody is forcing anyone and I'm aware of the votes. But we are working on a thing that people can participate in if they'd like to and want another AC fighter. But people will be left out of it if they go and rush to vote and then can't anymore, which is why I said to hold onto them.

It's optional. If you don't wanna participate then you don't have to. Otherwise there will be an announcement on it soon.

Animal Villagers wouldn't really work, as it will miss 332 other characters

mainly because I feel like Nintendo's newest IP should have a rep over just another rep for a franchise what already has reps. also, even if it would probably not release until like a year after Splatoon! comes out, it could work for late promotion too

Animal Crossing doesn't need another rep and campaigning for one is a waste of time
Super Mario RPG is overrated and Mario has more than enough reps already
Captain Toad is a bad character who would be tier maximum **** due to lack of a jump
Bandana Waddle Dee would be a waste of a slot and Kirby doesn't need another rep
Ridley is still too big for Smash and King K. Rool would be the better heavyweight villain rep
