Soooo whenever I try to set up fencing next to my house it looks like there's a small gap between the fence and the house itself. Can anyone tell me the best way to bridge the gap so it looks like the fencing is directly attached to the side of the house. Pictures showing off fencing without the gap are also helpful, especially if it shows exactly where to stand when placing the first piece.

If I need to, I can post a picture of what the gap looks like, but I'm hoping it's self explanatory.

Objects like the buildings in New Horizons have a pretty large hit box around them (the invisible space where objects cannot be placed). Basically, if you put a fence down as close to the house as possible, and there is a space...there will always be a space. That's as close as you can make it. You can perhaps use small distractions like a garden gnome or pot/vase to hide this gap...but you can't do anything about the gap being there.

I'll experiment with placement, but I'm willing to be it's a gap. I was planning on making a yard on both sides of my house. Now that Leif sold me some rose seeds I'm working on the hybrids. I plan to have a 3x3 bed of purple on the left side and a 3x3 of black on the right. MAYBE add a few decorations if I increase the size of the yard. Hopefully I have something decent enough if there's a non-fillable gap after all.
